The project will be implemented by an international consortium coordinated by the Institute of Photonic Sciences, in collaboration with Delft University of Technology, University of Galway, and SORIGUE. The Polish team, based at Lodz University of Technology and ICRI-BioM, is funded by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) and is led by Dr hab. Vignesh Kumaravel as Project Manager, with Dr hab. Sebastian Borowski and Dr hab. Olga Marchut as team members. Within the consortium, the Polish team leads a key task on advanced valorization, focusing on the development of photobioreactor systems for the isolation and cultivation of microalgae from wastewater to produce bioactive compounds, contributing to circular water and resource recovery strategies.
