Thamer had the unique opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art Cleanroom and nano-characterization facilities of the INL laboratory. The event comprised an insightful breakdown into two key components. The initial phase delved into nanofabrication, featuring enlightening lectures by INL experts on deposition, patterning/lithography, and etching methods. The subsequent segment centered around characterization, with INL experts delivering comprehensive talks on advanced techniques such as Transmission Electron Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, FIB, EDX, EELS, and XPS. The funding to participate in this training program was fully supported by the INL, Portugal.
