On 13th of June Professor Ioannis Pavlidis from University of Crete (https://www.chemistry.uoc.gr/pavlidis/) visited our center and delivered a lecture entitled "Protein technology at the service of white biotechnology", during which he talked about his current research projects.
The common areas of scientific interests of ICRI-BioM and Enzyme Technology Lab, that he is in charge of, include, among others, carbohydrate polymers and development of new biocatalysts. The visit aimed to discuss further scientific actions in the frame of the project as well as development of new routes of collaboration between the two research units. We are looking forward to continue our work together.
