Łódź University of Technology recently hosted a three-month international research internship undertaken by Aiswarya Vijayakumar Thelappurath, a PhD student affiliated with CEITEC-IPM and Brno University of Technology. The internship formed part of her doctoral studies and was carried out under the supervision of Dr hab. Vignesh Kumaravel, Acting Director of ICRI-BioM.

Two Ph.D. researchers from the Biomaterials group, Tannaz Soltanolzakerin Sorkhabi and Issam Thamer, successfully presented their research at the 34th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB 2025), held in Turin, Italy, from September 7–11, 2025. This prestigious event brought together more than 1,000 scientists from around the world, offering a rich program of oral and poster presentations, panel debates, and networking opportunities.

We are pleased to share that a review meeting of the NCN National Science Centre–funded M-ERA.NET HEVA (Hybrid Electrosynthesis of Value-Added Chemicals) project was recently held in ICRI-BioM, Łódź.
