As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences at Lodz University of Technology (TUL), BACIF 2025 International Conference on “Innovation for Food, Nutrition, Health, and Beauty” brought together academic and industry experts for two days of knowledge exchange and networking. The event took place on June 9 & 10, 2025 in Lodz. Key themes of the conference included bioprocessing, biocontrol, food safety and preservation, and biopolymers.

The DORIS project (Development of Modular and Mobile By-Product and Wastes Biorefinery Valorisation Systems) has been selected as one of 24 projects recommended for funding under the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership’s second transnational call: 24 Projects Recommended for Funding.

Dr. hab. Vignesh Kumaravel has joined the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports, a leading open-access journal from Nature Portfolio. He will serve as an Editorial Board Member in the Nanotechnology Division under the Materials section.

ICRI-BioM is proud to announce that we have successfully secured funding to host a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr hab. Vignesh Kumaravel's lab. Our application received an exceptional score of 96 out of 100, highlighting the strength and impact of our research.
